Piedmont Real Estate Group closed the sale of approximately 9.3 acres at the southwest corner of GA Highway 400 and Dawson Forest for $4,650,000. Piedmont had assisted the private property owners in obtaining a re-zoning of the property and completing preliminary development activities, and then marketed the property for sale. Located directly south of the North Georgia Premium Outlets, the property was considered one of the most important land transactions north of Cumming and the last major property sale at this intersection.
Jeff Pittman of Piedmont represented the sellers. The purchasers were a development group from Florida, funded in part by owners of a NFL franchise who are also active in retail property development in the southeast United States.
